9 jan - Molentocht

Vanochtend vroeg op, want ik moest met mijn moeder en zus naar het ziekenhuis. Moeder moest weer voor controle ...... En wat zie ik buiten ??? Een prachtige poedersuiker-wereld ! En weer dus geen tijd om onmiddellijk met camera het bos in te rennen  Gelukkig ging het in het ziekenhuis deze keer heel snel. Vlug naar huis, nog even bammetje gegeten, thermoskan thee gemaakt, en samen met hond in de auto naar het dichstbijzijnde bos  Daar een zalige wandeling gemaakt, het zonnetje scheen, en het leven was goed. In de auto kopje thee gedronken, en mijn vingers ontdooid, en toen weer verder, richting Bleiswijk, voor nog een stop bij de Rottemeren. Want ja, de Molentocht ging vandaag wel officieel door ! En wat een schitterend gezicht zeg, al die schaatsers, wit berijpt riet, strakblauwe lucht, Hollandser kan het haast niet .... Nou ja, kijk zelf maar voor een eerste impressie

Out of bed early, because I had to go to the hospital with my mother. Looking outside I see this gorgeous powdersugar-world ! And, because of the hospital, no time to take my camera and run into the forest immediately   Luckily for once they were quick at the hospital, so I hurried home, made a bottle of hot tea to take with me, grabbed the dog, jumped in the car and headed for the nearest forest  I had a beautiful long walk there, the sun was shining, and life was good. Afterwards drank some tea in my car, defrosted my fingers and drove to Bleiswijk, where today the skating tour along the mills wasn't cancelled !! And what can I say, it was just an amazing sight. All those skaters, white frosted trees, clear blue sky, just as Dutch as it can get ...... Anyway, here are my first impressions of this gorgeous day
