24 februari - Workshops Scrappendoejezo

Zo, en dan nu even een verslagje van de workshops bij Scrappendoejezo. Het belangrijkste was natuurlijk, dat ik eindelijk Dawn Inskip in het echt heb ontmoet, en dat alleen was al de moeite waard. Hoewel er niet zo heel veel tijd was om uitgebreid te kletsen was het toch heel erg leuk, en ik moet zeggen dat ze precies zo was als ik me voorgesteld had. Ontzettend aardig, creatief en met die typische Engelse humor waar ik wel van hou  Natuurlijk heb ik ook hard gewerkt. Ik kwam terecht tussen een heel stel doorgewinterde scrap-dames, die allemaal de meest fantastische apparaten en hulpmiddelen bij zich hadden. Daar zat ik dan, met mijn eigen snijmatje, lineaal en schaartje  Maar het was niet alleen vreselijk gezellig, ik heb ook veel geleerd en de scrap-dames hebben mij er goed doorheen geholpen ! Tussen de middag heb ik natuurlijk heerlijk geshopt in het winkeltje, volgens mij een aanrader voor papierscrappers. Nog nooit zoveel mooie dingen in één winkel bij elkaar gezien, en heeeel gevaarlijk voor de portemonnee. Ik ben naar huis gegaan met de Bind It All, een superapparaat om heel gemakkelijk boekjes mee te binden. Binnenkort zal ik foto's laten zien van de eerste boekjes die ik gemaakt heb. Time for an update about the workshops I took at Scrappendoejezo. The most important thing of course was finally meeting Dawn Inskip ! Although there was too little time to chat it was still very nice, and she was exactly the way I thought she would be. Very nice, creative and with that typical English sense of humor I like  I found myself in a room full of very advanced scrappers who had the most fantastic tools I ever saw, and there I was, with only my own cuttingmat, ruler and scissors  But not only did I have a wonderful time, I learned a lot and those scrapping ladies really pulled me through ! During lunch break I did some shopping of course, the shop was so cool and a must-go for paperscrappers. Never saw so many wonderful things together in one shop, a true danger for your wallet. I went home with the Bind It All, a great tool to make your own minibooks. I already made some books, and will show them to you on this blog somewhere the next week, but first of all the photos of the workshop

It was so good to finally meet you, and only wish we could have spent longer chatting. Glad you enjoyed the workshops - they were a bundle of fun (I know I still have to get pics to you - I made a mental note - just don't let me forget LOL). Your pages are gorgeous and love how you show-cased them xx
